I was reading the Moroccan Portal and a couple got denied because he had the I-184 instead of the I-134 in the interview. Seems like they took to long to resend it or communicate that to the consulate and their visa got denied. I'm not in that stage yet but I would like to know this difference before to keep informed of what NOT to do.

Also is there anyway here on VJ that I can post directly to the Portal I follow. Or once I post a new topic under the K-1; will it show under the country I am representing in my petition?

Thank you

The Portal is not a real place - it's just a "filter" to find posts from a specific country. There is a "Middle East North Africa" forum further down, in the regional forum section. VJ has lots of guides and flowcharts to the K-1 visa process in the "Guides" section.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I concur with Harpa!

Follow the Guides and the Embassy Info for current info about your interviewing consulate/embassy and visa requirements.

Here is some information about the financial affidavits at the DoS Nonimmigrant Visa Fiance(e) K-1 FAQs:

Happy trails on your visa journey.

I sincerely doubt a couple would be denied because they submitted the I 184 form instead of the required one for their case...and if you are writing of the case where they finally received notice that their case is is being sent back where Petitioner did not follow up with such form...it was assumed there were more issues then just what OP was posting regarding his interview. He had red flags from the beginning that were discussed on VJ (by him)when he first joined. Age gap, one meeting...etc.

If it is not the case you are posting about then forgive my mistake.

Either way...

You are not posting actual facts which can cause misinformation for others whom also do not correctly read the guides and current Embassy requirements.
