First I want to thank everyone for their congrats, words of advice and encouragement....:thumbs::thumbs:

Now today is a better day... I am able to smile :D

So I recieved an email this morning from the consulate which stated that my sister in-laws income is fine for 2 person household but for 3 person she falls below the requirement by about $1,000 I thought this from the begining but her husband thought different :bonk::bonk::bonk: .... He (her husband) will have to send in his info.... So insha'allah he will get that sent in asap and we will be back on track and my hubby will be coming home to me soon....:dance::dance::dance:

If you made it through the NVC stage where they check for your income requirements with the affidavit of support, how is it that at the consulate the consular says it isn't enough??

Isn't the information right in front of them at NVC and if they determine its sufficient then how does the consulate overturn that? Someone please help me to understand how this process works!!

I really don't don't get it either because our sponsor stuff was presented at his interview.... We were in need of a sponsor because I had been laid off for a while... Then I found a job and I filed.... The position was only temp but I got another job. Now I am work a fulltime and part-time job, my income from my 2 jobs and child support is more than my sponsor and her husband put together but I was told just before his interview that we would need a sponsor because I have been working my current jobs less than a year and I didn't really work last year... I have given up on understanding the process... Just trying to get through it without losing my mind....:blink::blink::blink:

Now I have to pay about $90 to send these papers to my sister in-law becuase she just arrived in Morocco monday to visit... The I-864A that the consulate requested from her husband requires her signature as well.... So he will complete his portion and sign then send to her so she can sign and then my husband can take it back to the consulate..... This is a very exhausting process and I am happy the end is near......
