Hello everyone,

I had an AOS interview last week. After going over my information and some questions relating to our marriage such as how we first met, his work ans with whom we live with, the IO took the copies of our supporting documents (utility bills, cashed checks, car title, car insurance; she didnt take bank accounts and phone bills). Then she asked us to wait the answer in the mail.

Overall, the interview was so tense and both of us were so nervous. Now we get more nervous because of the unknown decision.

Can anyone give us advice on what to do now?

Thanks a lot.

Welcome to the forum.

We recently had our AOS interview and got a similar statement from the IO…. "You will get an approval or denial in 10-14 days." An hour after we got home, I got a SMS text message to check our USCIS online status, it had been changed to "Card/Document Production." Our AOS interview was "murky," check our review for details. I agree, it is very nerve-racking.:o:huh:

I would suggest that if you do not get a decision within 10-14 days, you should contact USCIS inquiring about your AOS application status.

Happy trails on your immigration journey.

Looks like in california they issue 'further review' very frequently

Any reason they mentioned?
