Hello guys,

Does anybody here knows where I can call the USEM to verify the status of visa? my son interviewed last Nov. 19, 2012 and the consul said just wait for the visa to be delivered. It's already been 10 days and the visa hasn't deliver yet. I am just worried because my visa will become one year this Dec. 1, 2012 . And if they can't issue him a visa before that day, he won't be able to come here anymore. How long does it takes to get the visa in the Philippines after your interview? Cause I got mine last year within 7 days only .

Hello Hank, I just emailed USEM and it says "Your passport is still with post". what does that mean? Its still in the Embassy . Cause i am worried if its pending or not or already have a stamped visa on it. Just giving myself a consolation that maybe it took that long because of holidays last week.

Yes, they refer to the embassy as the Post.
