I am not worried that people from VJ go around googling me and if I were, I wouldn't write enough information about myself that someone could figure out who I was anyway despite changing one piece of information.

Got me. I figure most people have a thing called a life and don't sit around googling posters. I just thought it was funny to read that person's post because all the information they gave about themselves was pretty identifying anyway. If someone who knew them in real life stumbled on that post, they would probably either strongly suspect or know that they knew the person in question.

I haven't posted anything here that people IRL don't already know about me for the most part. No law breaking admissions or illicit affairs or web of tangled lies. I'm pretty boring.

Another poster quoted some of these posts.

That guy happened to be some fancy judge somewhere.

The media thought these were his posts.

He got fired.

It's okay. He was a dck.

That's funny, but no. It happened yesterday and I saw it this morning. I found it looking in my portal. The poster made this huge deal about not identifying a certain country because she was scared people were googling her, but then gave all this other info that anyone with some common sense and knew them in real life could piece back to the person.

Time to take the offspring to the gumbermint reeducation camp. BRB.

I actually pose as a male on most forums to keep users from trying to mess with my "irl" life. There are some seriously shady people that know how to work computers.

I was a pretty brutal poster with over 150k posts on the site.

I wasn't known for being the nicest poster.

I WAS known for being pretty awesome IRL though.

I met well over 20 people from there.

Why it took them 4 years to get rid of him is what i am wondering now. I was also wondering what the racist stuff was all about. Thanks for explaining.
