Hi all! We sent our petition on 11/06/2012 and I just realized that I didn't put the G1145, E-Notification on the very top. The cover page was first, then the check, then a cover page for the next section which was, Form G1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance, plus the I-129F, etc. Does this mean I won't get emails and texts now? Can't believe I made this mistake! Will they even look through it when they first get it and see that it is in there?

They will get through it and they will know what is it for. In our case, I had it on the very top, but didn't receive emails and text, it could happen, they're so busy, however, don't worry about it, hard copy will come to the petitioner's mailbox few days after. We got ours after 7 days.

Hi! :) Same here. My fiance didn't fill up the G-1145 form but it turned okay. Received the NOA1 in the mail 5 days after the check was cashed.

It should be okay. :)

Welcome to the forum.

You should be okay.

When you get your I-797c, receipt number, be sure to update your timeline to the correct service center and interviewing embassy/consulate. That way you will get accurate statistical information.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
