so today around 9am I received a call from Immigration officer:

Last Oct 17 had info pass and the officer that I talked to told me that I can come back end of Oct or first week of Nov so he can put my file again to the IO who interviewed us last Sept 10 and said it happened that IO forgot to order my GC and said there's nothing wrong with my case...

So last week I made Service Request because its close to 60 days when we had our interview approval...

and then today I received a call from lady officer and told me that she talked to the IO who interviewed us and just wanna know the DATE OF OUR MARRIAGE???what the hell??? really??? He has all the copy of our docs including our MARRIAGE CERT :wacko:

so I asked her if I have to come back to the local office and she said No and hopefully I'll receive a response within 30days....

1.so do you think I'll get any good news within 30 days??

2.is it better to go back to local office to make it more clearer if IO needs anything else from us???

3.or I'll just wait again :crying:

09.18.12 - Interview.....Approved!!

ROC- Divorce Waiver
05/09/14- I-751 packet mailed to CSC
05/12/14- NOA1 Receipt date
07/01/14- Biometrics Appt

08/11/14- RFE received

09/08/14- RFE response received by USCIS

09/22/14- 10yrs GC Approved!!

Sounds like you got over that hurdle, if needed take then a copy of the marriage cert, at least they acknowledge a mistake. Probably a rarity, keep the faith.

I hope sooo...it is better that he sent RFE instead of letting me wait like this... :crying:

I was really thinking to still go to the local office and bring all the docs so in case they need anything else..

I'll wait for a week if nothing happened after that call I'll visit the field office again...thanks for the input :)

Just checked the mail and online stat for my GC and i received this:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Decision

On November 6, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

so what's next after the Decision??? is my GC approved yet?? I dont wanna assume anything yet...but I'm sooo excited :dance:

Day 4.... 08/10/12- Received Email and text confirmation

Day 8.... 08/14/12- Check cleared

Day11... 08/17/12- I797C, NOA biometric appt received. Scheduled date 08/31/12 @ 12:00

Day16....08/22/12- Biometric appt completed.... Early walk-in less than 15 minutes

Day16....08/22/12- Received NOA hard copies in the mail for I-130, I-485, I-765

Day38....09/13/12- Received text notification for interview. Scheduled date 10/18/10

Day40....09/15/12- Received hard copy for interview. Scheduled 10/18/12 @ 12:45 Holtsville NY

Day61....10/06/12- Received text notification about EAD card production

Day66....10/11/12- Received 2nd and 3rd text notification about EAD card in production

Day67....10/12/12- Received notification card was picked up by USPS

Day70....10/15/12- Received EAD card in the mail. I'm loving it

Day72....10/17/12- Went to SS Office to apply for card

Day73....10/18/12- Interview day!!!! Approved

Day77....10/22/12- Received approval letters for I-130 and I-485. Got SS card

Day78....10/23/12- Got 2 text msgs about card production

Day79....10/24/12- Green card mailed
