Some people suggested printing out screen shots of live chats as part of evidence of relationship, since that is the primary mode of contact for many of us long distance couples now. I just wonder if it matters whether they are in color or just black and white.

Also how many should be kept for the record. I mean, if we chat daily, that would be a lot of pages. But if it is recommended then so be it.

you can print out your chat logs in color or just black and white..it doesn't matter..

don't send it too much..they won't read the whole convo anyway..i only sent 3 pages of my skype chat logs, but since you are K1 send more than that..

Good Luck

I sent one conversation from each month of our relationship since 2007. I chose a day of the month I think it was the 9th and I printed the convo from each month on the 9th from 2007 t0 2010. Once I saw how many pages it was (each convo was 4 or 5 pages) I chose one of those pages from each chat printed and sent that. excessive? probably but I am from a country that needs to frontload the petition. Black and white is fine and cheaper on ink. Best of luck!

Good luck on your visa journey.

I guess I may not have been clear on my questions:

first, I was referring to the quantity of information that I give to my fiancee to take to the interview, not to submit with my petition which i already did. weekly samples? monthly?, or more frequent? how much detail of the chats? i want to have enough, but don't think i want or need to send 1000 pages. just wondering what is appropriate for the interview. for petition i sent monthly samples plus listing of emails history.

second, when i was asking about the screen shots, I meant the photos of us chatting, not the text portions. i have heard people say they take snapshots so to speak of the screens, which include date and time. i thought color might be more clear and discernible. just didn't know if that mattered.

thanks again!
