Hi VJ'ers,

I m new to this foru.Have filed I-130 for my wife.PD is 14th Nov.Got NOA1.When shall i expect my NOA2?How long might be the process till my wife gets her .Any feedback appreciated.Thanks guys,luks like u guys have made this forum wonderful by being and providing such helpful informations, tips,comments and suggestion.

When is your PD exactly? Nov 14, 2011 or 2012? What Service Center?

For Vermont Service Center, i-130 approval has been stuck at PD January 23, 2011 for a long time now. Approximate approval time is 21.5 months.

For California Service Center, its PD September 3, 2011. Approximate approval time is 14.1 months.

Hey apple 21,thanks for the prompt reply. My PD is 14 nov,2012 ,and Vermont service center is my center.Oh so its stuck for VSC.Thats not a good news man.I hope when it moves forward ,it moves rapidly.Why is it like CSC and VSC have different timelines for approvals.Is it because VSC are stuck with the PD since JAn 23rd? Did not get it

Yes, they have different processing times. VSC is slower than CSC. No one has an idea why it's taking them this long to approve LPR i-130. Hopefully, we'll see approvals this new year.

So if like VSC starts approving this new year than..can we assume that the processing time would start decreasing.If i knew this before than may be i would have moved to West coast and by doing that CSC center would have processed my petition faster.Well never mind though and lets just hope that approvals gets going coming year.Well goodluck for all of us

Pleasee do informwen u get ur noa 2. my pd is 12th march 2012. I hope the new year is very lucky for us!! the process as well as the waiting period for the pd to becum curent after approval is miraculously faster. Amen.

Oh my. I wonder how backed up they really are. I got my NOA 1 via email on Nov 16. And I just got my hardcopy via post on Dec. 31!! :blink:
