Hello everyone, I am happy to be a member here.... I just have a one question that makes me worried right now... Its about my K1 Visa... The consular officer told me that my papers was good and just wait for my name to be called.. It was at the window number 73.... The guy told me that my visa is approved and I just have to wait it to be delivered at home.... But still, I am wondering.... If a VISA is denied, is it possible that tthey will take kept your passport? or they will just give it to you right away after the interview? Please I need help bout it... Thank you.... :(

If the visa is denied they have no reason to keep the passport. The K-1 visa is put in the passport so they keep it when they approve someone, otherwise they would have no way to issue the visa.

So it means I am approved? Thank you for the help :) I greatly appreciate it... :)

officers at US embassies are always straight forward people, I don't think the guy would have said you are approved if that was not the case!

So enjoy your time and relax you will get your passport along with your visa!

Happy times.....

It says that AR or Administrative Review are for those who have asked to submit additional documents, then The Embassy may conduct further administrative review to determine the qualifications of applicants to be eligible for visa issuance... Its for refused visa issuance... I don't know what to think now?

The consulate officer flat out told you that you were approved and your visa will be mailed to you. What is it that you are so worried about? Why do you not believe what the interviewing officer stated to you? I am sorry. I simply do not understand the problem here.
