:goofy: Good afternoon! I haven't been on here in quite a while, but needed some VJ'ers help. Besides Delta, which airlines fly from Manchester, England to Atlanta nonstop that anyone has used/would recommend? We want to fly my husband's daughter over in the cheap months (January - March). Thanks ! :goofy:

Shari,

Delta's home base is in Atlanta so you may find some good deals with them. I am pretty sure they would have non-stop flights although I don't know, but that is where I would start

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

It may be difficult to get a Manchester-Hartsfield nonstop.

If you're willing to go through GATWICK, much easier--in that case, I heartily recommend British Airways!

You're correct Kathryn, in stating that Delta has nonstops from Manchester to Atlanta--but IMO, much easier (and more commonplace) to do connexions through Heathrow or Gatwick.

(and I would NOT recommend Delta for flights outside North America).

:goofy: Well, my step-daughter lives in Ulverston (Cumbria) and from what my husband says, Manchester is the closest airport. We both flew on Delta nonstop those routes. I was just wondering if any other airline flew nonstop to Atlanta to check rates. Guess we'll stick with Delta. Thanks for the replies. :goofy:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
