So My husband is suppose to have his Oath Ceremony tomorrow morning at 11, in Philly. I just heard Philly is in a state of emergency, though the storm isn't suppose to hit until Monday evening/night. I'm not sure what to do about this, it's a 2 hour drive for us. I don't want to just miss the Oath as we waited over 2 months to get a date, but I don't know how to contact them. We'd have to leave here before they open in the morning if we wanna make it on time. Is there anything one I can contact today about this? I know USCIS is closed Sundays and the Philly site is down for maintenance.

Very glad it was postponed, as things are getting worse by the hour. The eye will be over us sometime in the night, looking likely that we'll be without power. Hope everyone stays safe!

I hope you have some non-perishable food gathered in case power is off a week or so. We had to go a long time on pop tarts, cheese crackers, cold Vienna sausage, tuna packets Yuk. They still disgust me. Even learned to drink hot Diet Coke. We have since moved and have a gas cooktop, so I can at least heat canned food next time.

We stock a hurricane box every summer with food, batteries, water, paper towels, etc. because every year is a threat on the Gulf Coast. Then if we don't use it, we take the food to a food pantry. Makes it easier than when everybody is buying out the supplies.

Got everything ready! It might be a cold night but we'll make it through. Still have power but the worse winds will come in the next 2-3 hours.
