What does "Receive Instruction Package" mean?

Hello,

What does "Receive Instruction Package" on my Timeline mean? And also - Timeline does not list Sending package IV, it says paying IV fee but not sending the package. Am I misunderstanding or is it wrong. Please help!

I "believe" Receive Instruction Package refers to the communication from the NVC advising you what supporting documents you need to send. The same one I received 2 weeks after submitting my documents.

There is no "Send IV Package" so you are interpreting correctly. I just yesterday sent a request to admins to modify the NVC aspect of the timeline.

    10/15/12 - Resubmitted I-864 Package
    10/18/12 - Case Complete
    11/01/12 - Case expedited to Montreal

:thumbs: .Amen Too me the Case# assigned, when you sent in the IV Bill and AOS package is becoming something that needs to really be tracked.

The Receiving Instruction is the IR1/CR1 Packet 3 (when you get your interview letter with your checklist and stuff).

Yup, tracking through the NVC could use some improvement. No response from the admins as of yet.

Receive Instruction = Packet 3? Really? :unsure: Cus there is a Packet 3 Received field AFTER Case Completed at NVC.
