My wife's I-130 was not approved at the US embassy in Nigeria. She said the interview went fine and was given a letter stating the the petition will be forwarded back to NVC for review and possible revocation and that the petitioner should appeal. I am wondering why and what is the duration of the appeal. Pls share your experiences if you have similar issues and how to go about it.

Thanks

Have your wife write a transcipt of the entire day including both verbal and non verbal activities of her and the officer at the interview. The clue is probably there .

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Was she given a piece of paper? If so, what exactly does it state/ any particular items that were ticked? Was anything written on her passport?

Do you have any red flags such as being from the same family, introduced by family, recent divorce, you came to the USA via marriage to a US citizen etc?
