a couple other things... ;)

I have been doing some research on Concurrent filing, and I have found that many people say that if you file the form I-765 along with the I-130 and I-485, the filing fee is not required for the I-765.

1. Is this true? Can I really get away with two checks ($1070 + $420)? I cannot find any evidence of this on the USCIS website.

2. From what I can tell, everyone suggests that when you file concurrently, you create 3 separate packages, and send them all at the same time. Where do I put the I-693 and I-864? should I also be filing these at the same time?

3. Assuming I Concurrently file all of this information, I'm thinking I should create a cover letter for the main packet, label each package, and create a cover letter for each package...?

4. Do I need a form G-1145, E-notification for each form, or a single one for the overall package?

Thanks everyone!

-Jason

Hey Jason:

So, to answer your first question. If you are doing concurrent filing, there is no fee for the I-765. For the second, although you have three packages, you send all them in one package and that's how you send it off. So, in this case, it really does not matter where you put the I-693 and I-864 into. Just have it in one of the pack. I did it in a way that I had first my I-130 pack, and underneath came the I-485, then came the I-693, and I-864, and then included last the I-765 pack. In terms of your third question, I would include for each "pack" the E-notification in case these packs go separate ways you can be always notified by each partner who gets your pack.

Good luck!

Awesome! Thank you very much! This website has been very helpful. I will update as we get through the process and do my best to help others when I understand the whole complicated process a little better! B-)

Have a great night!
