Dear all!

I really need your help and advice!

WE've got an email from NVC on September 5, where they required the copy of my J-1 visa, which my husband sent them the following day.

Apparently, they didn't received it, cause on September 16 we received the same inquiry. So I guess, the letter has been lost somewhere on its way. My husband sent the copy again.

Now, it's October 11 - and still no news. We are trying to call NVC, but it's next to impossible. And we don't have any other way of contacting them. What should we do??? I am really desperate! WE are really concerned about our process?

Please, give us some advice!! Thanks in advance!

If you're doing Electronic Processing, they do, otherwise, it's extremely rare. The next email will be to give you an interview date.

They sent us a RFE to be prepared and presented at the interview, my wife needs to prove US Domicile because we are living abroad, but never mentioned that our case was completed. We called them and they said it was indeed completed and our case was in line to schedule the interview. Today we received another email saying that they received the information we provided (who knows what) and added to our case and they will contact as soon as they send our case to the US Consulate.

I agree with other posters...keep calling! And if you don't get the help or answers you need, ask to speak to a supervisor until you do! Also...don't get discouraged by long hold times...most of the time I called I'd wait around 20 mins on hold before someone picked up to talk to me for 30 seconds. Stay diligent and call every day to get updates :)

So after the conversation with NVC, we found out that there is no change in our case. They haven't processed the last document yet, and the call center person doesn't even know whether they received it or not.

We will keep calling, but so far our case is not complete!!! :crying:
