1. are copies of checks my employer gives me, or check deposit copies good as pay stubs? I won't have more then 3 or 4 since i just started working at my current job and i kept a few of my check stubs from my past job, but i dont know if it should be submitted since I haven't worked there for 5 months. The co sponsor will have more to submit on that.

2. And for my employers letter, Can i write the letter and have him sign it? I think he will ask me to write it for him on Microsoft word. I was thinking of writing something like this.

The employer letter would or should be done on one with the companys letterhead. The checks you have should be good.

Basically, your employer letter should state "To whom it may concern: (first name, last name) has been employed

full-time with the XYZ Company since 200_ as a (name of your job), and is an employee in good standing with an

annual salary of $XXXX. Signed, John Doe, Supervisor (or whatever title)" The letter should be on company

letterhead.

As was said, it needs to be on a company letterhead. Yes he probably should put the annual salary because it makes it easier to see how much you are earning in a year (or estimated to earn in a year).
