I filed for a I-129f visa it was approved, But shortly before being approved me and my fiance broke up it was messy with family involved. So now i want to cancel or withdraw my Visa application. I sent a letter to the USCIS center that was handling it. They never sent anything back saying it was received. But about 2 weeks ago i got a letter from them saying that the petition has been forwarded to visa-issuing post overseas.

Now I also sent a email to the US embassy in Islamabad, I wanted to call but i cant get through to them. I am lost on what to do next. I don't want this to ruin my chances if i have to file for someone else in the future, also don't want to get in trouble because my ex might still come here. I don't know if she can do that???

PLEASE HELP

Sooo heart broken it had to end like this :( just think i would be getting married soon

In order for your ex to be approved at the interview, they would need the I134 from you. If you havnt sent this to him you should be fine.

While you try to contact the Embassy, call DOS and give them a heads up.

Have you consulted with others on the regional forum http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/91-asia-south/ about the quickest and most effective way to contact the USEM?

So I emailed the US embassy in Islamabad and they said i just need to send them a signed letter stating I want to cancel. They said my signature has to match what is on all the paper work i sent "no problem" after that it will be taken care of.

My next question is will I have trouble if i want to apply later down the road for a Visa for someone else???

Thank you all soo much for your help.

The crazy thing is i used this site for so much info preparing the I-129f i was on this site for days. Same with my fiance we would help each other and we built a awesome petition that didnt even take long to get approved. Now the sad thing is i am using the same site for help on canceling the Visa that took us so long to make :(

The irony of it all blush.gif

I'm glad the USEM was able to give you instructions.

In theory, you shouldn't have any issue with future petitions; just remember that, most likely, the new beneficiary will be asked about it, so make sure you disclose this information to your future SO.
