Criminal Record and P.O. Box question

My girlfriend is going to get her criminal record, she is living in Germany right now but moving to Italy next month to start the K-1 process. Can we obtain the records online or do we have to go to the police station or office? Do the records need to be translated and notarized?

Also I am going to be using a P.O. Box for this whole process. I have not started the process and want to send in the I-129F package next week. Where should I state my address as a P.O. box instead of my home address on any forms? Thank you!

you can apply with the closest German consulate in Italy. you fill out a form and a couple of weeks later you'll get a letter with the police records.

if i remember correctly, they only issue police records in german language; so for her interview she'll need to translate it.

Unless a form specifically asks for a physical address (e.g. intended address of beneficiary), you can use your PO Box in the address field on all forms. I did this and had no issues.
