I didn't recived the interview date!

So i'm a Spanish native and i'm willing to marry with a US citizen, we started the process and i already received a package with all the documents, I resend the forms DS230I and the applicant´s statement.

I waited for a month without answer and last Friday i called to the contact number at Madrid, they just followed a script so i send a email to the Visa Section, and today they informed me that i have to send also the DS156, DS156K and DS157 (duplicate), and that they set a interview last 27th of September (and today is 1st of October), but i didn't received any confirmation of the visit!

So now i'm starting to panic, since i don't want to screw it, is a important fault? or still i can get another interview? I send the documents today, and asked for another interview through email, but still without answer. Thanks.

Yes it is possible, but they are the ones who can give you specifics. It's evident there has been a lack of communication between the two parts. At this time, you can only wait for their instructions; so stay on top of the situation.

After a reasonable amount of time for mail delivery, I would suggest you call Madrid again. I worry that you did not get confirmation about the last date that was set, as you posted.

Definitely take control of the scheduling by calling them. Say that you sent the documents and tried to schedule by email - just checking to make sure everything is on track.
