I mailed in our Fiancee Visa application over two (2) months ago and still have not received a case number. I know that the government received my application because they have cashed my personal check. Is there a phone number or a email address that I can use to check the progress of my application? Pleae help! Andy

Two months seems a bit too much. Have you called USCIS and asked? It's a good sign that they cashed your check.

You are not going to receive a case number. However there is a NOA1 that is sent to you that has a number starting with either EAC (Vermont) or WAC (California). You go to uscis.gov and put that number to track it.

Here is a link of contact information for USCIS. Call them and explain that you never received a NOA1 and it has bee over 2 months.
