Hi friends,

We know that the petitioner needs at least $18000 (I don't remember how much exactly), to support the beneficiary.

But in the affidavit of support, there are some points that freak me out...they ask about the savings, the ability of deposit a bond, moreover I know they need the 6 last salary papers.. so for me, it means that even if the petitioner has enough to support the beneficiary, he could be refused because he does not have enough savings ? They don't mention the limit of money.

What do you think ?

Thank you very much.

Your totally confusing yourself my dear.

As long that you MET the poverty guidelines requirements no need to worry

Just leave those BLANK

usually other applicant/petitioner fill up that part if they want to use some short of asset to able to meet the income guidelines.

goodluck

Here's the sample VJ form http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-134.pdf

This sample was done as if the petitioner has an annual income that exceeds the poverty line + real state.

Thank you. I have already seen this paper and i was wondering if you exceed the poverty line but you don't have a lot of savings, is it a problem ?

Its not a lot more...

If I were you, just in case, even though it shouldn't be a problem, I would have someone ready to co-sponsor; just to be on the safe side.

In theory, you won't need it, but it wouldn't hurt to be prepared. good.gif

Best wishes yes.gifrose.gif
