Hi i was wondering if anyone here could tell me is it true what i heard that 50 percent of k1 visas are denied at the embassy interview in manila?

Where did you read this, im not sure but i read a lot of the manila consulate reviews and while this is just a small percentage of the actual applicants most seem like they pass to me. Unless they leave out something as standard as NBI clearances or an affidavit of support. Then they just get the 221G

 sounds like a really high denial rate to me...after quick google search the only place I see that number is on advertisements for lawyers or visa services.

Be part of the 50% approved if it is true.........

Hi

Denial is not done immediate basis. It takes time to denial for K1 Visa applicants.

Most of applicants or K1 Visa interviewee thinks that 221 G white slip is denial letter but its not true. Yes, its true that most of the applicant get 221 G White paper if consular does not find anything more convenient document or not convinced with your statement. So, they ask for more document with 221 G white slip. They just want to get convinced that fiance and fiancee are in true relationship and their intention is honest to marry in USA within time period. Thats it.

Do not think in that way please...Just be prepare with all document which Packet IV says and do it accordingly.

Thanks

I doubt that such a high percentage 50% are turned down for any reason. If ever, a small percentage are rejected due to various reasons, one among them is inability to prove that a love-relationship exists between partners. I would guestimate the rejection to be about 5% rather than 50%.

What is the source of your data ? K-1 has high approval rate based on my perception or observations. Perhaps for tourist visa that would be the case. K-1 is easier as long you have authentic and complete documentary requirements. There are times beneficiaries, during interview, they are required to submit additional / new documents, but in the end they still get approval. It's a matter of proving genuine relationship and having met all the immigration requirements.

Although it was never and will never be 100% approval, I doubt about that 50% denial. Just like Abner137, just be part of that 50% approved

The 50% rate may be from people not using Visa Journey, LOL Visa Journey has people with actual experience. Not many Lawyers have this. Also lawyers charge for the advice they give. And the visa services are just people typing the information you give them into a form.
