i have basically been basically staying with my sister since after our NOA1. i havnt changed any government documents (licence, passport w/e) to this address.. the address i have given on the USCIS is still good it is my mothers house and technically still my residence.

the only thing im wondering about is, since i have spent most of my time at my sisters house, all phone calls (im the beneficiary BTW) to my fiance are from her home phone, will this cause a problem if i use it for evidence of ongoing relationship? (if my home address is different????)

or should i change my address so the supporting documentation matches the address? and if i do that do i need to change it on all my government issued IDs?

You should be fine leaving things the way they are since your mother's residence is still your official residence. If there are discrepancies between phone numbers, then just explain as you did here, that you are temporarily at your sister's and make many of your calls from there. You can have your sister write an affidavit and have it stamped and signed by a Commissioner of Oaths (cheaper than a Notary Public in Canada) identifying the phone number as hers and the caller as you. Is there a particular reason why you are spending time at your sisters? ie school, babysitting, etc.

You should have other evidence than phone calls though, that should help carry the day.

My sister is going through a divorce and has 2 of her own kids so I'm there a lot of the time babysitting my nephews and she also watches my daughter for me while I am in school... She also has free US long distance so I make most of my phone calls there and when at my moms I generally use Skype..

So I will be providing my Skype logs also..

I think you should be fine leaving the address where it is. It can be difficult sometimes to make sure an address change goes through correctly so if you really don't have to you are better off not. If the question arises just explain what you said here - that your sister is in need of your support right now emotionally and physically and you are helping her through her divorce and with her children.

Good luck to both you and your sister.
