Hi all, I applied for my sister a few years ago for a CR1 visa,it was approved by uscis and now it is at nvc status, I guess it would take a few more years to get the residency for her; she moved from Peru to Argentina, now she is living in Argentina, but I want her to come to visit for the holidays, she is planning to apply for a tourist visa, I am sending an invitation letter, i dont know if this would be helpful or would hurt her chances to get a tourist visa. she has a good job in Argentina, renting an apartment and have bank accounts there. Three years ago she was denied a tourist visa in Argentina, do you think that my invitation letter will help her out to get a visa this time? She needs to prove strong ties to Argentina, any suggestions? Thanks

My guess no difference.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
