I am trying to book a flight to the Philippines and have a question about the 21 day visa. Can I stay 21 nights from the date I go through immigration. So if I arrive and go through Philippine customes at 9:30pm on Nov 29th and leave on Dec 20th will i be ok? or do I have to leave on the 19th which is staying 20 nights? Does anyone know what it cost to extend a visa past 21 days. Im married to a Filipina but she wont be going through immigration with me to get the 1 year visa like I usually do.

Just to clarify, your Filipina wife is not going home with you? Or are you just referring to the lines at the airport?

..... Im married to a Filipina but she wont be going through immigration with me to get the 1 year visa like I usually do.

You can go get a visa at the Philippine Embassy or go to the Beauru of Immigration when you get to Philippines to apply for an extension.

I found a resource here for you.

The limit is 21days if you just show up to the Philippines without a visa. If you decide to overstay that visa by x amount of days. Then it is a 3000php/75usd extension fee. The thing is no one can EXACTLY tell you such and such because we are not immigration. But NoyNoy has been cracking down on Immigration lately so expect them to be harsh with their policies.

Wouldn't 21 days be the same as 21 nights? I'm sure they count the days as calendar days. Think of it this way, if you are allowed to stay for one day, then you would stay the night and leave the next day. Two days would be two nights, and 21 days would be 21 nights.

Ok well I booked arriving on Nov 28th and depart on Dec 18 so I'm good. Has anyone used San Francisco For international flights to the Philippines? How is it compared to LAX Los Angeles? Is it bad coming back to the US going through Immigration? I have used LA in the past and don't like it. I am from las Vegas and used Korean the past few times but they cost to much now so I used another airline and got a price of 846.

I always fly Hawaiian airlines as it flies right into Phoenix, so POE is Honolulu.
