and Lurker...your comments bashing American women are very telling! Jeez, I just spoke about people like you in another thread...can you not just be all 'I love my fiancee' instead of bein all 'neeener neeener, American women suck!'

In my opinion, yes American woman suck...Now I said it....so no neeener neeener...they Actually SUCK!

Sad that you have to put people down to feel better about yourself, but I suppose that gives you some kind of closure you obviously need.

I thought about it but I worry the Fillipina will end up being male....Fillipinas are nice though, while the relationship lasts..before they are done with AOS that is

If my fiance finds out you've insulted her you might be dressing like a woman when she gets done with a little surgery involving your family jewels. :hehe:

Oh the famous Philippine hair cut

Actually I was serious. She works in a butcher shop and she's pretty good at carving up a hog carcass. :o

The reasons for most American men going overseas to find woman is that A) They are generally prettier than American woman because they are not fake, or drama queen like. B) Because American men desire TRADITIONAL woman. C) Most woman in other countries other than the US actually appreciate the simple things in life.

Maybe I don't get out much, but that sounds like a generalization to me...

8/10 of my friends Married a woman overseas for this reason. Maybe I just have friends that are concentrated to feel this way in one particular area. I did use the word MOST though. Maybe I should have use the word some?

8/10 or 4/5 of your friends does not equal most Americans.

Interesting. I know an Indonesian entertainer who went through the sex change medical procedure (male to female). I think she went through all the legal name change so I guess the new ID (national ID, passport) shows a female.

What about the original birth cert? Does that get reissued or something?

I didn't say most American's. I said most American men that meet woman overseas.

Geez, I seem to spend most of my time pointing out what I originally stated.

I don't think you have the authority to speak for 'most Americans who meet women overseas' cos you personally know 8 of em. I can't speak for why there's lots of US-UK unions even though I'm part of one, I can only speak on the motivation of my own.

Something you should consider reassessing

But at the end of the day, the men who are not 'damaged goods' will sit there and praise his woman's merits standing alone from tarnishing them by a bitter snipe at something that should be irrelevant. Do I think American men suck? Absolutely not...I just happened to be fortunate enough to meet D and he's the best thing since sliced bread. Says nothing about American men or their ability/inability to make women happy...how on Earth would I be able to form an opinion on 'American men' as a whole?

Come on now, surely you should let the anger go by now...you're engaged, be happy (F)

Oh, btw there's no ' in Americans. It's not one-American possessive...it's plural. I know this is sooo silly a point but it aggravates me so I couldn't help it this time

I am not angry. I come across angry to most in text. But in person, people actually think I am funny with my straight talk. Yes I am very happy that I finally found my equal. She is the greatest thing in the world.
