I just received 3 envelopes with info on my transcripts I ordered. All it has is a request date, response date and tracking number. Is this what I need to send AS a transcript, or is it just to track a transcript that the IRS WILL BE sending? I'm very confused as to what I should do with this. Please help me or steer me in the right direction. Thank you.

No, that doesn't sound like it's the transcripts. They're lengthy, anywhere from 5-20 pages each.

You should get a Tax Return Transcript (not a Tax Account Transcript, just an FYI as some have confused the two when ordering them) from 5 - 10 business days after you request it. You can also get it immediately if you have access to a fax machine. When you're on the phone with the IRS tell them you need the Tax Return Transcript for your spouse's immigration process and you need it faxed today. They'll ask you for the fax number and send it to you, but you have to verify that you received the fax when the operator comes back on the line, so you'll be on the phone a while.
