i think im gonna go see a psychiatric , USCIS messed my mental health.

long story short, after a year and a month we got the interview which was AUG 14 2012, and almost a month later, and still no answer, all we got after the easy 10 minutes interview was a letter saying our case is on file review and that we will receive a decision in the mail within 180 days.

A month later and still waiting..

2) i filed EAD Renewal 2 weeks ago and i got 3 weeks left until it expires plus my driver license, do i need to wait for the new card or any other document i can used to extend any of them ?

thanks !

Why did it take a year and a month to get the interview??

well, everything went fine, after bio metrics we've been transferred to CSC, for a year we waited with no result(i didn't knew you call for info pass stuff like that at that time), but i called because the college asked for GC Copy, so i called USCIS to speed it up claiming i need to show them my GC , and the lady sent me a letter for the approval of the case being expedited and a week 2 later we received interview appointment for local office...but nothing yet..

i know the game here is to wait, and wait, oh and being patient, but im losing my hair with every day that goes by..

any idea on question 2 by the way ? it's a iceberg my ship wont like to hit. :S

I thought from your other thread you were not on a K-1. Did you file I-130 at the same time as I-485? The CSC transfer does not happen with concurrent cases.

Am I wrong on that and you were a K-1 case?

As to 2, that stuff will depend on your state laws.

Regarding the interview, I wouldn't worry too much, they need to do some extra checks and most people end up fine. I know it's annoying to wait, so I am questioning why you waited so freaking long for the interview in the first place.

didn't went through i-130, we sent i485 for marriage based after our wedding, about a month later..the i485 & i765..

there aren't any red flags or anything, only thing i can think why it's taking a little bit long is my military service in IDF + Weapon trainings i had..

guess ill just need to wait..

where can i check my state law regarding that issue within Florida ?

for dido and harpa :

i came on a b2 visa

Okay, Jimos... something is NOT adding up here.

To adjust from a B2, you MUST also file a I-130. Without I-130, there is NO way to move forward.

Usually this is done at the same time as the I-485, but it can be done before. It cannot be done after though...

Please figure out exactly what you filed. You say you did not file I-130. You say you filed I-485, then I-485 & I-765, so please correct that and tell us what you were trying to say there.

Get out your stack of paperwork you sent, and tell us what's what.

nobody is home right now to check but i called the lawyer to ask but left a voice mail since she busy or something...

from what i remember the lawyer sent an i485 & i765 the same time , these are the only documents that we've filed to them.

i don't remember an i-130..ill check at the house but im pretty sure..

if i didnt filed that form , is it normal in that situation that they still anyway took me to an interview and gave me an EAD ?

Not normal, but possible. They should have rejected it outright, but I read an article about a person who did not file I-130 and I-485 got processed for a while before it was denied.

If you are working with a lawyer, they should know what they are doing...

But, the whole transferred to CSC thing is NOT protocol for someone who filed I-130/I-485 concurrently, but it is protocol from a I-485 alone.

You've got a lot of mismatched stuff here, so check once you get home and let us know.
