Hi there. I know something about your situation because my fiance is military and participated in several UN missions. When exactly was the petition filed? Has it reached the embassy yet? I don't know Ghana military policies, but I'm pretty sure you can't just up and leave a UN mission unless you schedule CTO to coincide with your interview. Even then, you're probably gonna be stuck in Lebanon for a solid year. I would try to remove yourself from the Lebanon assignment first. For sure there are plenty other officers in your ranks who would like to take your place. If you can't, it's probably better your wife revoke the petition for now. You can always meet her on vacations in Lebanon. I was there a few months ago to see my fiance. Best of luck.
