In my excitement at getting my NOA-2 (online, not in the mail yet, since it's dated 2 days ago), I'm making a list of what to do next. Here are my questions:

1. We plan on seeing Dr. Buteau in Haiti, because of the recommendations. However, my fiance works full-time 9-5. Is there any possibility of an appointment being set up? Does anyone have a phone number where we might reach Dr. Buteau? Or does he just have to take time from work?

2. I've been told to email the US Embassy in Haiti to get the Packet 3 faster. But I was told I need to put the case number as the subject line of the email. Is that the WAC0000000000 (0=digit) number that was on my NOA-1? Is this too early to request? We need to be thinking about getting the medical part done.

3. I'm preparing "stuff" to bring with me, but am seeing that some people are using DHL to send. If I'm planning to go down for the interview, I can just bring things with me, right? Or does he need anything from me BEFORE the interview?

4. Can someone explain the Police Certificate? I see some info that says none is needed in Haiti & other that says it is. Should we get one anyhow? Or just not worry about it? If so, can someone explain what that means & how much it will cost & where to go to get it?

5. The list of stuff we'll bring to the interview is as follows. Please give input if anything is not needed, or if I've missed anything.

*Original Application Packet (photo-copy)

*His valid passport

*Form DS-230 Part I (“Biographic Data”) - is this needed for both of us?

*Form DS-156 (“Application for a Nonimmigrant visa”) electronically filled on the web site: http://evisaforms.state.gov printed in duplicate

*Form DS-156K (“ Nonimmigrant Fiancé (e) Visa Application”) to be filled out but NOT SIGNED by all principal applicants

*Form I-134 (Affidavit of Support) fully completed by the petitioner, together with evidence (recent tax forms)

*Co-signer information (bank letter, work letter, I-134, and tax papers and/or pay stubs)

*His birth certificate (do I need mine as well? I sent a copy with the original application packet)

*Marriage & death certificate of his first wife (do I need my marriage cert? I sent my divorce papers -originals- with the original packet & don't think I HAVE the marriage cert anymore. Also, he had a son from his first marriage who also died with his wife. Does he need birth cert & death cert for the son?)

*Medical papers

*Letters of intent from both of us

*Documentation of our on-going relationship

-Boarding passes from my second trip (only the ones for the first trip were in the original application)

-Print-outs of emails & messages

-Letters between us

-Phone logs

-Photos

-My passport with stamps showing trips

*ME!

6. I've made a list of questions they will likely ask, based on what I read here. It looks like we already are very well acquainted with the answers already, but I'm wondering if anyone can give additional advice.

Thank you all so much!
