Case Number / Meaning?

Does anyone know the meaning/opening of the case number?

For example: ANK2012616007

ANK=Ankara (Location of the Interview)

2012=Year NVC Case Completed?

How about the rest?

Might be a reference number to locate your case .... don't know for sure.

Next 4 numbers is the year of issuance

Next 3 numbers is numerical date from Jan.1 + 500

Next 3 numbers is the case filed into NVC for that day.

In your example it was the 7th case entered into the system on April 25th, 2012
