Does anyone know the meaning/opening of the case number? :help:

For example: ANK2012616007

ANK=Ankara (Location of the Interview)

2012=Year NVC Case Completed?

How about the rest?

NVC Case Complete: 5/22/2012
Called NVC for Interview Date: 9 Times
Called DOS for Interview Date: 3 Times
Medical Exam Complete: 10/8/2012
Interview Date at US Embassy in Ankara, Turkey: 10/17/2012
Visa on Hand: 10/18/2012
Port of Entry from JFK: 11/9/2012
Green Card on Hand: 11/29/2012
Social Security Card on Hand: 1/4/2013

Eligible to apply for Removal of Conditions: 8/9/2014

Biometrics Captured for 10 years' Green Card: 11/7/2014

Removal of Conditions approved on: 5/29/2015

10 Years' Green Card on Hand: 6/12/2015

First 3 letters is the consulate abbreviation

Next 4 numbers is the year of issuance

Next 3 numbers is numerical date from Jan.1 + 500

Next 3 numbers is the case filed into NVC for that day.

In your example it was the 7th case entered into the system on April 25th, 2012
