As i dated my wife i took screen shots of our skype conversations to show date and duration of our calls. What did anyone do in the past to show history of calls via skype? and how many screen shots should i print out? i am thinking of printing logs to show the history from the year before we got engaged to right before we got married. aproximatly 15 screen shots.

Thanks

I probably over did it but I printed out all of the skype history and sometimes we would type things while on skype so I sent that I also sent most of the emails, all the phone logs, and yahoo chats we had for the year prior to our petition. I filed I130 so I sent wedding pictures and pictures with his family letters from my family and his family and some of his friends and I wrote a letter myself since I cant go to the interview in Nigeria I wanted to get my 2 cents in. You dont have to send this much but we are dealing with Lagos so I wanted to make sure I front loaded as much as I could. I will send more copies of our conversations since we filed and pictures of our trip when I go to see him in a couple weeks with him on his interview.

I copied all the conversations on word document and printed them over 300 pages. I also stored them on a USB memory stick. It is overkill but it is better to be over prepared than under prepared.

 It's a good idea to send the skype logs from the time when you were dating to the present. I think I agree with the other 2 comments here, it's better to have a large amount of evidence, than later receiving a RFE (request for evidence). SO if you can, send as much evidence as you can.

By the way, do you mind if I ask you how did you get your skype history for more than 6 months back? I tried to do that, but Skype only shows me the history from yesterday, 7 days ago and 3 or 6 months ago, max. THANKS in advance

GOOD LUCK!!!

are you going to bring all of the 300 pages?

i also copied ours in word document but did not print all, i printed 1-2 pages of our conversation on picked dates only....is that bad idea?

thats what i did, i have every single convesation logged but i didn't send them all , just selected dates from each months . I think you are OK , some people chose to over kill some would want to show a sample. as long as you are showing an ongoing relationship
