Can we get the medical done in neighboring state ?

Salut,

i was just wondering if we can get the Medical exam done (for AOS) by the Civil surgeon based in the neighboring state ? i live in IL right near to the border of Iowa and Missouri and the nearest CS to me is in Missouri . what do you guys think ? shall i go to the nearest one or stick to one who is based in IL only ?

Any civil surgeon on the list is acceptable.
