it's just so weird........ there are no patterns that you can follow with the way they process cases at the CSC it seems???

some people's cases fly through there, in and processed within 2-3 weeks..........others don't even get e-mail updates........I think Katie from the UK mentioned that an USCIS officer told her that sometimes they don't bother to process updates on some cases (and of course with others they do...)

and then there's the rest of us and the transfer to the CSC list is getting longer and longer........

Maybe there'll be a whole bunch of cases processed sometime this week?? I'd love to know how things work there and what they are doing to our cases??!!!

Ya I know there doesn't seem to be any reasonable process ... I sure hope this RFE doesn't affect my EAD ... now that would suck ... I was thinking with the transfer to CSC and all of the touchs that my AOS would be approved prior to my EAD now I have to pray that I get my EAD approved soon ...

My future boss contacted me today to talk about a few things and asked how the immigration process is going ... They are eager for me to start working as am I ...

There is nothing about this process that makes sense. Just get ready and send to them the RFE as soon as you receive it. You will get approve soon after that.

Good luck,

Peter Miami

OK I am feeling way left out here. No touches, noda, nothing, zilch. The last time was September 18th right after biometrics. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I do have a question though. Everyone talks about an email or something once their case is transferred to CSC. Is this from CSC?? I got the email notice of the transfer then maybe a week or more later I got snail mail of the transfer. But this I-797C was sent for Lee's Summit not CSC. It just says to speed processing your case has been transferred to the following office please contact them with questions and the whole they will notify you when a decision is made yada yada yada. Should I be concerned? Should I have gotten something from CSC when the case was received there? Any idea's???

Hi Freda. You're in the same position that I, and a few others are in. Most people receive an email from CSC saying it has been received there, and I believe that is the norm. I was transferred on 14 september, received an email on 15 saying it was being transferred and then received a sanil mail transfer, but i never received an email to say it had been received at California. To put my mind at ease I called the USCIS and spoke to an immigration officer who told me it was in california and I had nothing to worry about, she asked me to verify a lot of my info for her and it was all correct to what I have. She said sometimes you don't always get the email notification etc and they don't always update the profiles on the website. I hope I was not just being fed stories but she seemed to be able to see a lot about my case, even told me about my rfe i received and sent back in august. You probably have nothing to worry about!

Also Freda, I noticed your timeline mentioned "AOS and EAD" transferred to CSC........

it's only the AOS that goes there, the EAD gets processed somewhere else, Lee's Summitt I think??? :(

sorry for splitting hairs, but just thought you should know, they're processed seperately

RFE !!

Just great got the following email about 30 minutes ago .... Here we go more delays !! Damn this process is starting to wear me down .... grrrrrrr

Sounds like they have you on the same slow-track as they've got me. Transfer to CSC, sit on it for a month, touch it a bunch of times, then issue an RFE for documentation that they already have but can't be bothered to go look at!!

Well I guess we will see if the RFE is for info that we already submitted ... It probably is as I went through the photocopy package that I sent in and I don't see anything missing ... Now I will be hounding the mail man for the next week waiting for the RFE ...

Seems like almost everyone I have seen getting transferred to CSC and getting approved quickly with no interview have come into USA with K1 visas. Am I right ?

I have come into USA on K3 visa after getting married in Canada.

We will soon be filing AOS to Texas Service Center.

Is there chance of us also getting sent to CSC and approved without interview or is it ONLY for K1'ers ?

Is there ANY K3'er on this list who was transfered to CSC recently or approved recently without interview ?

Thanks

From all of the VJers that I have read it appears only K-1ers are being transfered to CSC ...

Also I am pretty sure that you don't file your AOS to TSC as all AOS applications should be mailed to the Chicago Lockbox and they forward it to the local center ... I might be in error though ...
