we're hitting the 6 months mark soon, and we heaven't heard anything about my aos. it was transferred to csc so i'm guessing there's no interview coming. there were touches on it but that's about it, no rfe no nothing. my hub's planning to give them a call and i wanna know if that's a good idea. i'm not planning to get my senator involved unless it hits like 7-8 months and there are no changes. personal stories and suggestions would be appreciated

thank you

Your best bet is to wait until a day after CSC has had the aos for 6 months then contact your senator or congressman. After the 6 months they can kick USICS into action.

Call the USCIS after 180 days after the transfer date to CSC.. The date of filing your AOS won't count, It has to be 180 days (6 months) AFTER the transfer. Good Luck. I called USCIS twice before and they can't help me unless it's over 180 days. Then earlier today I received a text saying that my case status has changed, then when I looked at it, it's on CARD PRODUCTION! You can try to call USCIS and check what's going on with your status. It won't cost anything.

It doesn't have to be your husband who calls USCIS - it's your application. :) Anyways, around Oct. 5th would be 180 days from tranfer date, and you can put in a service request.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days
