Evidence to prove you met in person within the last 2 years??? Yes, that is a little much. We sent in 4 pictures over 4 different time points within the last 2 years of submitting the I-129F. 2-5 photos of you 2 together will suffice.

I know this process is nerve racking and you want to get it all right, so make sure you study this K1 guide

It will help you with making sure that you put your package together correctly. A wonderful checklist. Make sure to study the part about Documentary proof.

Good luck and if you have any other specific questions... Please ask...good.gif

Hello All,

I'm am putting the evidence portion of my i129F together. I have over 40 pictures. Is this too much?

Welcome to the forum.

You can send them in. You certainly do not have to send in all 40. What other evidence do you have? Passport stamps, boarding passes, text records, receipts, itineraries etc. (as mentioned in the "documentary proof" section of the K-1 visa Guide) ?

I sent in 5 photos with my initial Form I-129F petition and as much of the other types of evidence as I had. YMMV.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Because of the country I am filing in, I sent about the larger amount of photo's BUT, I did not send original photo's. I made color photocopies of 5 or 6 at a time (as many as I could fit on a regular sheet of paper) and posted a note that original photo's would be brought to interview.

The OP is in Canada.

There is no need to front load the I-129F petition, they can if they choose. They must satisfactorily meet the mandatory requirements of I-129F to prove they have met face to face within 2 years of filing petition, be free and legally of age to marry, letters of intent, and if applicable any divorce decrees. Following the K1 Guide will get you through this step of the process OP.
