Do I need to translate all the documents for the interview?

The interview takes place in Colombia and as I read and re-read the intruction packet it doesn't say that the birth certificate and the police certificate for the applicants need to be translated into English.

Do I need to translate them or not?

Not for the interview in Colombia.

But, when you adjust status, you will need a certified translation of the birth certificate

Here is the quick and easy part from the general guides on submitting documents here in the US that need to be translated....

Please submit certified translations for all foreign language documents. The translator must certify that s/he is competent to translate and that the translation is accurate. The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. The formated required by the USCIS can be found here.

Anyone that is fluent in both languages can do the translation. You do not have to hire someone to do it, unless you just want to.
