hey everyone . i apreciate all people here on VJ for thier effort and the help you offer to others .

here is my question : i would like to know which visa i should try K1 or K3 ? wich one takes less time and is safe to be aproved ? my fiance wants to get married and try K3 . but i dont know if it is going take less or long . how if it is safe to try it or not .

please tell me everything about both of them . i know it will take little time from u to do all . thank you in advance .

Start by clicking on the word "GUIDES" at the top of any page here. However, the K3 visa is obsolete. The currently available spouse visa applicable to you is the CR1. If you've already been together in person with your fiancee sometime in the last two years, you could start a K1 process now, meaning from now to together, would be faster. That's because you HAVE a fiancee and do NOT have a spouse. Unless you could get married in the next few weeks, K1 is "faster" but more expensive and more complicated from now to green card and work authorization. Lots to consider. Start with the guides.

K3 is no longer used. Forget about it. If you want to get married in the states, then go with a K1 fiancee visa. If you want to get married in her country, then you have the CR1. Both take some time. Both are safe. What is important is that you follow all the steps for each carefully and comply with all the requirements. Which is actually faster? Really depends on the documentation you provide. But I need to ask..why the rush? Some times people here rush, rush, rush. Then a year later have problems. Take your time.
