Hi guys I need some advice. I applied for my passport book the 15 of August and the received my app the 20th. When I checked online it still processing. And I'm traveling the 10 of september. I paid for regular service. Do u guys think I will get it on tint to travel. Please advice.

Official timeline is 4-6 weeks, but generally people are getting sooner.

I believe you may still pay an extra fee and request for expedite.

I recently got my Passport Stolen. I reapplied for a new Passport and received it in 12 days like the first one. I also happen to request it via regular mail as well.. You should be fine, you have a week to play with.

I am going through a similar experience.

They started working on my passport renewal application on Monday, August 13.

On Friday, August 24 the status update changed and says I should receive my passport on or about 08/29/2012 (routine service not expedited).

This is perfect because I plan to travel early September as well.

Keep checking the application status.

Applied for my passport on 7/31, received it 8/16 I believe. Regular processing.

As per the update of the USCIS on Aug 28,2012, routine service processing time is between 4-6 weeks. Hopefully, you should be getting it by the end of this week or early next week.

If you dont receive it, or see any change in status by this Friday, I would call and pay the additional $70 to expedite. Give them your travel dates and possibly your itinerary number, they will work on it and make sure you have it on time. It takes about 2 days or so for the expedite request to go through, and this is a holiday weekend. Once processed, it will be sent overnight.

10/10/07 - I-129F sent to VSC

04/30/08 - POE Newark

07/06/08 - Wedding..... I'm Married Yall!!!

I130 for Minor Child

7/26/12 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

7/30/12 - Priority date

3/15/13 - NOA2!!!!!!!

3/25/13 - NVC received my case

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

4/11/13 - aos fee bill invoiced/paid/and pkg sent

4/12/13 - aos fee paid again after being rejected/ds3032 resent and accepted

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

6/05/13 - INTERVIEW

Update: I received my passport today in the mail (08/28/2012) one day ahead of schedule.

My wife was also approved at her interview today so just GREAT news all around!! :D

I requested the expedite service wesneday and I haven't received no notification. And when I called they told its still processing. And I'm traveling the 10th of september

yes I had to my senator office Tuesday and they finished processin it yesterday and ship it overnight yesterday and I received it today at 10:30 am
