ead expiring but I have a greencard?

Quick question. The EAD/AP card i had from before I received my greencard is expiring. I have my greencard which is still valid for another year.

My Permanent Residence card acts as my EAD/AP now, correct?

Basically I just want to make sure I don't have to renew my EAD card that I had first.
