Hi Everyone, I hope somebody can help me as I can't find any official answer on this question....

I am preparing the required documentation for my initial interview at the London Embassy and I am not sure what proof I need to show that I will not become a public charge to the US government. I will certainly seek full time employment once I am able to do so in the US but I guess that is not enough guarantee huh?!

My US fiance does not earn enough to be my sponsor but I have a small amount of savings but better still a close friend of ours has kindly agreed to sponsor me instead and she earns plenty. So my questions are:

1. Is it ok for a friend (non relative) to sponsor me?

2. Has anyone else done this and been approved?

3. Do I need to take to the interview an i-134 completed by my fiance AS WELL AS our friend who has agreed to help?

Looking forward to the helpful answers :)
