It looks like a good amount of people are getting a visa this week. I'm glad to see that. I wonder if you could expedite a visa on the grounds you are going mentally insane waiting. I've read that you can only have one expedite request and no appeals so I'm not sure if it is just one request period or if you can request like in 10 different ways. Really the whole process is kind of stupid, it would make more sense if they gave tourist visa in the mean time and if you screwed that up you could never get residency or anything. The system seems quite flawed, but sometimes that works to your advantage if you work with those flaws. Like taxes!!! 250 days just sounds like a long time, I feel as if I haven't even lived that long. They say what ever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, not enjoying the muscles getting bigger this time.

I couldn't agree more.

you can request to expedite your case but just the reason that you are going insane is not good enough reason for your case being expedited.

You got to understand there are different types of visa for different purpose and they go thru different check and paperwork.

Unfortunately tourist visa is not a waitout visa, just have patience and you will have your visa.

You can apply for a tourist visa, the chances of getting it are slim but if you have the money, worth a try.

You'd need psychiatrists letters to get an expedite on the grounds of "mental issues due to waiting".
