I cant believe after 8 1/2 months since we filed AOS that I get text today saying status update, but I look online and it is an RFE. :angry: Has anyone else had the same thing and what was the RFE for? I hope its not nothing too much since I sent everything in that the list asked for.

although you're way ahead than us, we're in the same boat. I wish i could personally go and look in their files what's going on with our application! :angry:

Yep, I also filed in December. I got an RFE letter yesterday since my I-485 was incomplete. I have read various reasons of RFE from something simple like missing signature, more proof of bona fide marriage, incomplete tax documents to the dreaded missing medical. Just need to wait for the letter to find out. Hopefully, it is something simple.

Prettysunshine, may I ask why your I-485 was incomplete?

It was not I didn't provide enough evidence, but on the Form I-185 page 2 Part B I failed to list my husband's information. Silly me. :bonk:

I was thinking since my husband was not applying with me and I had no kid and so I filled that section with none. I sent a complete form with the updated information today and hopefully I will hear good news soon.
