I traveled and lived with my fiance for 3 months in the UK. When I got there they asked me where I was staying and my reason for travel. The lady only put the stamp that says 6 months visa but there is not a stamp with my day of entry and when I left they just put a orange sticker in the back of my passport that says I-SEC and something written in pen but no date. Also when I arrived to the U.S. they asked me my reason for travel and looked at my passport but no date of entry back in the U.S. No one stamped it! Will this cause a problem with showing the dates that I was there my photos (digital date) and receipts and atm withdrawals show the dates plus my boarding pass proof of purchase with dates, baggage fee paid with date, delta itinerary with dates. I was not on the lease with my Fiance because I wasn't going to live with him permanently just visit. But would his rent receipts and letter of landlord stating that I was there in those dates also help. Because he would see me all the time. I just read something about RFE on stamps on passports in the RFE Master List and it got me thinking and looking at my passport.

Humm definitely strange. So, you checked all the pages and there's nothing saying the Country you entered and the date? What other stamps do you have on your passport? Do you have the ones from the US saying that you went out of the country and another one with the re-entry date? All the things you mentioned as secondary evidence to back up that date seems to be pretty good.

Look at all your evidence and ask yourself the following: If you were the person looking at your file, who has to determine that you have, in fact, met face to face once within the past two years...... would you be able to establish just that and put all the pieces of the puzzle together by just looking at everything you've got?

If you think you can, I would go ahead and send the copy of all pages of your passport (as we said the other day) and submit copies of ALL other evidence you have. Having the landlord letter wouldn't hurt... I guess at this point, everything is a plus.

Countries usually have different styles of stamps for entries and exits, to make it easier to identify the movements of people. The shape of the stamp and the colour of the ink may also provide information about movements (whether departure or arrival). I think your okay

Yes nothing written but ONLY the 6 month visa with a number code but no date. They probably just scan it and put all in the system. No nothing from US or UK. When I left they just put an orange sticker on the back of my passport saying I-SEC. That is it and I checked all pages.

If I was looking at the file yes all the tickets, receipts, and digital date on photo match the time frame that I was there. Clearly in the photos I was there for the winter holidays. Now do you know if the letter from the landlord has to be notarized? Or just hand written with proof of rent being paid around those dates and his signature.

Thank you smile.gif

I wouldn't notarize it unless they ask you, just make sure that the landlord adds all possible information of his identity and such... after all, you'd be going out on a limb with this letter, right? But, it's up to you. If you feel more comfortable notarizing it, by all means do it.

Now, Harpa has a point. I realized that, when you spoke of TICKETS, I assumed you were talking about boarding passes. The itineraries won't help much, but the boarding passes definitely will.

And what foreverwaiting said is correct! NOTHING in this process needs to be notarized unless otherwise instructed by USCIS or the Embassy.good.gif
