Hi there,

This is probably not an easy question to answer as I am sure this situation doesn't come up that often but my fiance's corporation sponsored me for an H1b position back in December 2009. It was initially approved but then sent back to USCIS at the embassy interview and ultimately denied because they did not think it was a speciality position.

Do I need to deal with this in our K1 petition? How?!

Thanks in advance!

Well, just be honest in all information you need to provide. If that is true, then, I think you will be Ok -- as long as you have evidences of real relationship and you both have met all other requirements of K1. Good luck and God bless ! :)

Hmm...I was thinking of including this info in with the answer to Question 18, however, we have kept that brief and to the point (as that seems to be what most have done on this forum). So it basically says that we met online in 2009, in person when I was visiting friends in April 2009 then again during my trips to the US in 2009 and 2010, when he visited me in the UK during 2011 and when we took a trip to Mexico in June 2012.

It doesn't really seem relevant to add in the H1 info so I'm wondering if I should?
