Well congratulations. You have some document gathering to do. Come join this NVC August thread. The frst two post have all the guides and information you need to prepare your Affidavit of support and the IV Bill package. If you are with your spouse you can gather up this stuff now and bring back saving postage.

Thanks to VJ here it is the summary of NVC process:

- Call NVC (603-334-0700)

- Provide the operator with the following information:

CIS Case No, Petitioner's Name, Petitioner's Date of Birth, Beneficiary's Name and Beneficiary's Date of Birth.

- get case number, IIN (Invoice number)and give email addresses over

- email the DS-3032

- pay the AOS bill, once it's invoiced

- once the bill appears as PAID, mail the AOS package

- pay the IV bill, once it's invoiced

- once the bill appears as PAID, mail the IV package

- respond to any checklists, if applicable

Okay I have what may be a dumb question but here goes.

People keep saying submit paystubs. Are you suppose to submit everyone for the year or the latest since it has tear to date?

Reason I asked I started new job July 9th so was wondering to I have send all in (so far I have 2). But it does have year to date on it. thank u

i called nvc today an they said they received the case but itll take 6 to 8 weeks for me to get a case number????? What do I do???? to hurry things up

Wow that is a long time to wait to get a case number.

Thats their can speech (Although 6 to 8 weeks good God). But they seem to be true to the 15 business days to generate a case number. So from your receive date count the business days 15 days out that should be your case# day. However I still call about every day cuz well you just don't know. And seeing niothing has gone as planned so far.

NOA2 6/29 lost between USCIS and NVC for 31 days finally received at NVC 7/30. Yes 31 days later so my suppose cse# number should be available 8/20. Good grief.

I am confused your timeline wasn't filled in. So when were you received at NVC. It's 15 business days from that date you shoul drecive a case number. But its advised that after 1 week of your NOA2 date (which you also haven't updated) start calling. Some call everyday some every few days some not at all. Depends on your need to know.

august 3rd was when the case was recieved at NVC called yesterday an said to wait to 2 to 4 weeks.... Is there any way I can get it faster? by emailing them or just keep calling?

So you are looking at 8/24 as your 15th business day. Still call everyday you never know it may be sooner.

Faster you can request an expedite if its a life or death situation. NVC rarely rarely approves expedites. But you can surely try to request one. Other than that waiting is all yiu can do.
