Ok but we are talking about now. They are lucky right now

Um, Thank you Captain Obvious....it was a joke.... My point is, things swing back and forth in a matter of months. Chill out.

Hang in there. Today is day 195 for us. We got an RFE, but others without were still waiting 6-7 months. Hope VCS picks up the pace for you and everyone for that matter.

Just called them(VSC) they are still on Jan 16th , he said from what he sees in his system everything is in order . They just waiting for the final decision , if there was anything questionable we would have got a letter to clarify or bring proof or something so to just be a bit patient and try back in 2 weeks at the latest

I know this is agony to wait, but one day, we will all be able to look back on these days with relief! :innocent:

Oh and keep in mind, the folks you called "lucky" at CSC had a 6 month wait when I first filed... then POW, things started moving big time over there. I remember telling my fiance when we got our NOA1, "thank god we are not at CSC." I am eating my words :pop:now....

HAHA said the exact same :) 'Ooooh, look at the average wait time for California, we are so lucky'

I'm just happy for them, getting married sooner than later is always a thing to be cheerful about : o)

I submitted our petition on January 17 and haven't gotten the NOA2 yet. I call essentially every other day to check on things. Monday I was told they are currently processing January 16. So much for that!

Hang in there friend, you are not alone... We have a large thread going for January Filers... if you want some comfort, or just entertainment, check it out. So far everyone who posts on it have been approved except myself and my friend Texas22.... We keep each other motivated. I gave up calling USCIS... Then at 6 months post NOA1 I got an RFE. I was crushed at first, but now... just par for the course.

Funny and ironic how things shift so much. I felt so lucky to be at VCS when we first filed, was thinking of a September wedding.... now I curse the day hahahahaha. GRRRRR :ranting:

We 'Marchies' have been sending USCIS messages on their Facebook page, similar to this one:

Good Day,

Many petitioners at MyVisaJourney.org have noticed that the CSC is processing K-1 I-129 petitions quickly, while VSC is extremely slow. CSC is now on May filings. I have filed in March and still haven’t had an answer. Could you please, please, somehow let us know why there is such a terrible delay at VSC?

Thank you very much for your time.

Erinn

Not even sure it will do anything at all, but every little bit helps!
