Hi everyone - first of I would ask for no judgment to be passed on my partner as I am after advice only

My husband and I applied the CR1 spouse visa. I am filipina, and he's a US citizen. Problem is, He has quite a record. we applied our CR1 visa last May 31 2012 and he was caught of bringing 2 joints last febuary and last july 28 was caught driving bike without helmet.. both are in Missouri..and few years ago was caught of having a fight in TX but was already drop, so im not really worried about his few years criminal records.. just this 2 previous cases are still on going.. he was charge a probation for a year and 40 hours of community service but cant join this CS since he's working in an offshore, he has a lawyer who's working on this now to help him about this... he's not really from Missouri, he's just passing by head to IL or in TX by bike or by car.....Ok.. so it sounds TERRIBLE. Never been charged for sex related crimes, drug trafficking, murder or anything crazy like that..but due to the rest of his record, it didn't look good one bit.

My record is clear. Never been arrested!! Now.. will this cause him issues to file a petition? He has a job, a house and has cleaned himself up quite well, i am very proud :) But will this cause any problems? I really hope it doesn't... cross fingers.. coz i noticed that most may filers already have the NOA2 ... hoping we will have ours soon too...

No, as he is the petitioner it will not be an issue. They may ask you about it at interview to make sure you know, but other than that, not a problem.

Unless the US Citizen's criminal record involves sex crimes against children, it's not an issue in your immigration.
