Does all evidence have to be supplied in paper form??

Yes. Electronic Devices, of any kind, are not allowed into the IV Unit.

UPDATE - visa delivered today :D

great - congratulations !

what's the validity of use dates? IE - do you have a 6 month span or something less?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Indeed it is :D

After a mountain of cut-n-paste, printing and Lee sending back cards she had kept, called the courier to collect it all and the passport.

Sent them 1300+ A4 pages of Facebook chat (13 months worth), some screenshots from Facebook chat (about 1 per month), skype and phone records, Valentine and Birthday cards, didn't need to go back down there thankfully. The courier was pretty gobsmacked when he came to collect it all, it was a struggle to fit it into the "envelope" he brought.

It weighed almost 10 pounds, however the cost was the same as if it were only 1 sheet of paper, thanks DX.

I had no other communication with the Embassy since the interview.

The cards were sent back to me with my passport and sealed envelope, I wasn't expecting the cards to be honest, but nothing else.

I'm sure it seems like overkill, especially to those that got approved with no evidence at all, but as the CO said at the time of refusal, "the more the better".

Well they got it and job done, visa in hand :D

Did you give your son's address as Malta? How did she know? She is correct that if you told her your son lives in Malta, then he does not qualify. If he still maintains a residence in the US then you need to document that, as well as other things like recent utility bills sent to him at that address, his valid US drivers license and voter registration with that address on it. His tax returns should show the same address.

All this time and you never posted that your son wasn't in the US. How long is he away?

Nich-Nick thanks for showing up!! No I never gave my son address in Malta! When my son filled the petition he was in the US living in the US working and studying in the US up to the time my case got completed at NVC(he lived in Louisiana, worked in Louisiana, voter registration in Texas and drives licence from Texas)...soon after that he decided to come and see me and take a language course in Malta related to his studies! So he is simply studying in Malta for a few months...When she asked were your son lives? I answer he is at the moment studying in Malta! Now what he needs to do to proof that when he doesn't have a lease signed in his name? can he show the old ones?he still have a bank account in the US in Texas with his mother's address on it...the same on the voter registration and drive's licence! I was under oat so no lies I guess!

He left Louisiana end of August, stay 2 weeks with his mother in Texas then 2 weeks here in London and got in Malta by the end of September and start studying first week of October!
